Too often Christians can come across as believing they are somehow superior to others.  We serve an all-power and mighty God, but we do so as those who celebrate what he has done and is doing in our lives - not as those who have any reason to boast.  These lessons look at what it means to be the people of God - a community which invites and transforms lives by the power of God.

Planning for 2010

During the next two weeks the congregation is being asked to spend time in prayer as plans are being made for the church.  As a church that seeks to be "Helping People Find Jesus" there is a need for every ministry leader and deacon to intentionally plan the ministries they lead so that they will contribute to the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

There is also a need to seek to involve more members in ministries so that they are "Helping Believers Become Disciples."  Each year our aspirational goal is that every member will find a place to fit in the body of Christ and be a blessing to others even as Christ has blessed our lives.
