Mark's inspired account of the life of Christ makes a significant transition in chapter 11. Jesus has previously been quiet about his identity, choosing to prepare his disciples before revealing himself to others. With his entrance into Jerusalem Jesus begins to declare his identity, knowing it will result in his death... and also knowing it is the only way for God's plan for man's salvation to be realized.
