Joe Spivy became the pulpit minister of the Grand Central Church of Christ in February 2002. Joe grew up in High Springs, Florida (and TN, WV & KY) and graduated from Alabama Christian College (Faulkner University) and Freed-Hardeman University. It was at Freed-Hardeman that he met the former Melissa "Missy" Flatt of Morehead, Kentucky. They were married in 1982. Missy is an associate professor of Education at Ohio Valley College where Joe serves as an adjunct Bible and Sign Language instructor. They have be blessed by God with three children: Leah, J.T. and Anna.
