A Biblical Foundation...
Over the past few years one of our primary objectives has been to secure a solid foundation for campus ministry at Ohio Valley by obtaining a more complete understanding of biblical ministry. The question that has been driving this effort is this: “what does a biblical philosophy of campus ministry look like?” In other words, what does a biblically shaped campus ministry seek to accomplish?
The following three points reflect what we believe to be a biblically based philosophy of ministry and will provide a solid foundation for many years to come.
- Investing in the lives of students for the sake of their spiritual well being and maturity;
- Planting the seed of God’s Word in the hearts and minds of students
- Equipping students for service in the kingdom of God.
